ANCOVA ALBERT

My daughter Georgia and I were fortunate enough to purchase Albert (7yo Haflinger gelding) from Ancova Farm in November 2014. Both Vidhi and Bianca were great to deal with; they really went out of their way to make us feel welcome and to ensure that we got to try Albert in lots of different places and situations over the course of the weekend before we bought him.
Geo fell in love with Albert the first time she rode him and their relationship has only gotten stronger as the months have gone by. Alby has proved himself to be a totally awesome wee pony – he has a fantastic personality, is very kind and willing (you can do anything with him – and Geo does!), always tries hard and is a very honest jumper but best of all, he looks after Geo. There have been moments when I am sure she is going to fall off but Alby somehow manages to move underneath her and pick her back up! What more could a mother ask of a pony??
Albert has turned out to be everything that Vidhi and Bianca said he was and so much more. Geo and I cannot thank them enough for Albert – he truly is a golden horse with a golden heart!

Abel’s owner writes:
I’d only ever seen Haflingers in books or on the internet but when I learned there was a breeder in NZ it was a dream to get one for our family.
Vidhi was so easy to deal with and very obliging, sending updates, photos and videos. She was very honest and there were no surprises when he got off the truck. 
I can’t believe we’ve had Abel for 3 years. It’s gone quickly but also feels like he’s been part of our family forever. He’s just over 4 years old now and he’s turning into the awesome family pony I always dreamed of.
Haflingers really are a special breed and it’s impossible not to fall in love with them and their funny personalities, they’re just like what you read/hear about!

ANCOVA ALFIE
Buying a horse from Ancova Farm has been a great experience. Vidhi instinctively knew that Alfie would be a perfect match for my personality and situation.
And indeed he is. Alfie is my first full-blood Haflinger, and the ideal horse for our family. He is such a willing learner and a fun character, and he never fails to draw an admiring crowd.
